The Principal
Kenneth Cheng, founder of Mission Kay Capital, has built a career rooted in entrepreneurial ambition and a strong foundation in general management, corporate strategy, and transformation.
Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Kenneth’s journey began early, launching his own ventures even before completing his university studies in Perth, Australia. Over the years, he has led global teams , driven business growth at multinational companies, gaining extensive experience across diverse industries and completing his MBA at INSEAD before returning to setup Mission Kay Capital.

02 What we look for
Company
We aim to work with business owners who are considering retirement or looking to step back from daily operations, ensuring a smooth transition while preserving the legacy they’ve built.
We focus on businesses with at least 7 years of operational history, a proven track record of stable cash flows (EBITDA between $2M and $8M), and healthy, consistent recurring revenue.
Our approach is centered on fostering growth and continuity, allowing the business to thrive while honoring the foundations laid by its owners.
Industry
We focus on industries that offer stability and long-term growth potential.
We seek opportunities in fragmented markets with minimal dominance from large competitors, allowing room for meaningful impact and growth. Our preference is for industries with stable growth trends, low sensitivity to economic cycles, and manageable risks, including exogenous, regulatory, and technological factors.
This thoughtful approach ensures we invest in businesses with strong foundations and steady potential for sustainable success.
